Summerhall, 1 Summerhall Place, Edinburgh EH9 1PLEdinburghUK

The launch party for Meursault’s new album is an all-day event at Summerhall called ‘Song, by Toad’s Granfalloon’, with a Granfalloon being defined by Kurt Vonnegut, who coined the phrase, as “a proud and meaningless association of human beings”.  You can see how we thought it so fitting.

It will be an all-day event featuring Song, by Toad Records bands as well as an awesome selection of pals and collaborators. From the label side we already have Faith Eliott, Lush Purr and Adam Stafford, with an exciting new signing to be announced in the next week or so. Representing the ‘friends and relations’ we start with Now Wakes the Sea and a first look at a new collaboration between James Yorkston and Aidan O’Rourke from Lau, which is pretty fucking exciting.

More special guests will be announced over the next couple of weeks, so keep your eyes peeled. Tickets here.
